Updated: Aug 4

Day 10 saw the end of Andreeva’s incredible Wimbledon run, as well as dominant displays from Djokovic and Sinner on their way to face each other tomorrow. We now come down to the final four of the women’s singles, where the favourites, Iga Swiatek and Aryna Sabalenka, will be looking to face off against each other once more. But will they be thwarted by their opponents? Let's look at today’s matchups.

Centre Court (1.30pm)

Aryna Sabalenka *1 vs Amanda Anisimova (USA) *13 – The world No. 1 had her work cut out for her in a tough quarterfinal match. After going a set down, Sabalenka was struggling to compose herself, with many believing Laura Siegemund was going to get the best of her. Yet, the Belarussian was able to prove why she is the best in the world, making it to her tenth semi-final in eleven Grand Slam tournaments. She now comes up against the impressive Amanda Anisimova. The American last made the semi-final of a Grand Slam in 2019 at the French Open, but this time will be hoping to make it all the way to the final. She has yet to face someone in the top 25, but that doesn’t diminish her successes in this year’s tournament. Her mix of fast-paced serving and strong forehand technique will give her a strong chance today. But it will be a tough ask to take down such a powerhouse. Be sure to tune into this sure-to-be exhilarating match.

Belinda Bencic (SUI) vs Iga Swiatek (POL) *8 – Unlike the other semi-final, these competitors have had no time to relax, as yesterday’s quarter-final winners battle it out for that spot in the final. Iga Swiatek has only dropped one set this tournament, with no sign of ever slowing down. The Polish superstar has shown her striking brilliance at the perfect time and is now a strong favourite to win it all this year. But that could all change very quickly. Coming back from a six-month break after the birth of her child, no one gave Belinda Bencic a chance at this year’s Wimbledon. She was written off before the tournament had even started but battled her way through, stylishly beating Mirra Andreeva in the quarterfinal to make it to this heavyweight matchup against Swiatek. Making it a step further, however, will most likely be too much to ask of her. Nonetheless, expect nothing less than one of the games of the tournament so far.

Sem Verbeek (NED) & Katerina Siniakova (CZE) vs Joe Salisbury (GBR) & Luisa Stefani (BRA) – As well as the women’s singles semi-finals, the mixed-doubles final also takes place today on Centre Court. Both pairs have had extremely successful campaigns, with Verbeek and Siniakova only dropping one set all tournament and Salisbury and Stefani yet to falter. This will no doubt be a high-intensity matchup, but who will come out on top?

Court No.1 (1pm)

Marcelo Arevalo (ESA) & Mate Pavic (CRO) *1 vs Rinky Hijikata (AUS) & David Pel (NED)

Marcel Granollers (ESP) & Horacio Zeballos (ARG) *4 vs Julian Cash (GBR) and Lloyd Glasspool (GBR) *5

Alfie Hewett (GBR) & Gordon Reid (GBR) *1 vs Daniel Caverzaschi (ESP) & Tokito Oda (JPN) – Not before 4pm
