Update from Wimbledon (AELTC)
17th June 2021
We have been in close contact with the AELTC, and we’re now able to provide you with some important updates regarding this year’s tournament.
It's official, Wimbledon is a go!
We are delighted that the Championships will be going ahead and it has been announced that Wimbledon will proceed as a pilot event in the Government’s Events Research Programme. The tournament will operate at 50% capacity, increasing to 100% capacity for both Final's Days!
What you need to know:
There will be obligations for ticket-holders to provide covid certification (either proof of vaccine status or a negative lateral flow test) to enter the Grounds.
Any ticket-holder can sit with any other ticket-holder on court outside of their family or support bubble and in food and drink spaces, but with some social distancing likely to be in place.
Debenture holders will be situated in usual seat locations with no empty seats either side.
Tickets will be electronic this year and delivery will be within 24-hours.
