Wimbledon Order of Play Today: Day 7 - 6th July 2025

Day 6 featured a culmination of fast-paced matches, as Djokovic showed his prowess in his bid to win an eighth Wimbledon title. We now look forward to what will be one of the best days of tennis so far. Let's see what's in store.

Centre Court (1.30pm)

Sonay Kartal (GBR) vs Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova – With Raducanu breaking off from the chasing pack, Sonay Kartal carries the weight of women's British tennis behind her as she takes on the impressive Pavlyuchenkova. The Russian defeated Osaka over a gruelling 3-set match and will be looking to reach the quarterfinals at Wimbledon for the first time since 2014. Yet, Kartal stands in her way. The Brit has only lost 1 set all tournament and will be wanting to carry on the dominance she has shown so far. But will experience outmatch talent?

Aryna Sabalenka 1 vs Elise Mertens (BEL) 24 – Sabalenka showed everyone why she is the world number one by taking out a high-spirited Raducanu in the last round. She came back from a break down in each set, proving why she is currently favourite to win this year. Her opponent has proven to be one of the top contenders this year, beating Svitolina comfortably in round 3. Yet, with the tough matches Sabalenka has faced so far, it’s safe to say that she will walk into the quarters.

Andrey Rublev 14 vs Carlos Alcaraz (ESP) 2 – Still on the hunt for that illustrious third title in a row, the grass king of the last 2 years takes on strong-willed Rublev. Alcaraz has time and time again shown his brilliance, overcoming Struff in a tough battle in the last round. Rublev also comes off the back of three very impressive performances, but will this be a step too far for the Russian?

No.1 Court ( 1:00pm)

Taylor Fritz (USA) *5 vs Jordan Thompson (AUS) – Both players have had gritty campaigns so far, going through two 5-set matches, and will be looking for a quick end to this one. Thompson has had an impressive run so far, this being the first time he has ever made it to the fourth round at Wimbledon. Fritz will also be looking to make it to the quarterfinal for the second year running, so expect an epic encounter here.

Nicolas Jarry (CHI) vs Cameron Norrie (GBR) – Norrie will be wanting the crowd’s support more than ever today, as he faces the incredibly impressive Nicolas Jarry. The qualifier's journey so far has been quite a surprise to many, with most not putting him past the first round. After defeating Holger Rune in the opening round and Fonseca in the third, he comes up against Britain's last hope in the men's singles draw. Norrie equally has had an impressive tournament and will be praying that the magic that is court 1 will help him prevail.

Linda Noskova (CZE) 30 vs Amanda Anisimova (USA) 13 – Anisimova will be looking to make it to the quarterfinals for the second time in her career, last achieving that feat in 2022. She has had quite a relatively easy route so far but now faces the challenge of Linda Noskova. The Czech has never made it this far before and will be hoping to prove herself even further.
