Wimbledon Order of Play Today - Day 4: 3rd July 2025

More shocks greeted us on Wimbledon Day 3, as Day 4 welcomes the return of former champions galore and the world number 1: what's in store for us today at Wimbledon?

Centre Court (from 1.30pm)

Dan Evans (GBR) vs Novak Djokovic (SRB) *6 – A real cracker gets us under way on Centre Court between 7-time champ Novak Djokovic and crowd favourite Dan Evans. The British wildcard defeated fellow countryman Jay Clarke in Round 1 and looked impressive doing so, but Djokovic will likely prove a step too far.

Iga Swiatek (POL) *8 vs Caty McNally (USA) – Swiatek has started to look better on grass as the years go by; where she once looked like a deer on ice, she now looks like a capable winner of Wimbledon. Her opponent is the young American Caty McNally, who defeated Jodie Burrage in Round 1. The pair have met twice before, with McNally winning their first meeting at the junior French Open.

Jannik Sinner (ITA) *1 vs Aleksandar Vukic (AUS) – It was a ruthlessly dominant display from Sinner in Round 1, who looks like a man on a mission, desperate to avenge his French Open final defeat. His opponent Aleksandar Vukic made a good showing of himself in Melbourne this year but overall lacks the game to truly worry Sinner.

No.1 Court (from 1pm)

Mirra Andreeva *7 vs Lucia Bronzetti (ITA) – The exciting talent that is Mirra Andreeva kicks off proceedings on the show courts today as she takes on the dangerous Lucia Bronzetti. Both are good double players, so there should be a lot of net play, but this is the furthest Bronzetti has made it at Wimbledon; Andreeva should triumph.

Maria Sakkari (GRE) vs Elena Rybakina (KAZ) *11 – Arguably the match of the day follows Andreeva as 2022 champion Rybakina takes on Greece’s Maria Sakkari. While Sakkari currently sits at 77th in the world rankings, she was not long ago a top 3 player but has struggled with injuries of late. Rybakina is easily one of the favourites for the title, with her game excellently suited to grass.

Jack Draper (GBR) *4 vs Marin Cilic (CRO) – Yes, you’re not misreading that; that is the 2014 US Open champion Marin Cilic. Cilic has been on something of a resurgence recently, using the Challenger Tour to try and get back to fitness. He stormed through qualifying for Wimbledon and his first-round match and now gets himself the prize of the home favourite. Draper looked excellent in Round 1 (albeit against poor opposition), and the wily veteran Cilic should pose him more problems.
