Update from Wimbledon (AELTC)
13th April 2021
We have been in close contact with the AELTC, and we’re now able to provide you with some important updates regarding this year’s tournament. Based on current legal restrictions, the AELTC have had to make changes to ticketing and seating arrangements in order to be compliant. These are likely to ease in the coming weeks but for now they are as follows:
Seating will be allocated in pairs with empty seats on either side. We will have a few single seats available which can be used to make up configurations of 3 or 5.
Under current guidelines each pair of ticket holders must be from the same household or support bubble.
Debenture seating will potentially be spread throughout the stand and will be a mix of seats from the 100’s, 200’s and 300’s, going back a few more rows than in standard years.
Electronic ticketing will be introduced (there will be no souvenir style tickets printed this year). E-tickets will be sent out in early-mid June in order to remain as flexible as possible to any change in circumstances.
PLEASE NOTE that these changes are based on current legal regulations and we are more than hopeful that they will be relaxed ahead of The Championships.
In the event the Championships are cancelled or played behind closed doors due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Sporting Agenda will issue you with a full refund or roll your tickets over to 2022, whichever option you prefer.
