Clay Court season now in full swing

Following the brilliant and heroic Fed Cup performances from the British girls in seeing off Kazakhstan and thereby returning to the World Group for the first time since 1993, the European clay court season is now getting into full swing, culminating in the French Open at Roland Garros at the end of May. Fed Cup heroines Johanna Konta and Katie Boulter will be hoping to take their good form on to the clay, with the Morocco, Madrid and Italian Opens all coming in quick succession. Meanwhile, Kyle Edmond, Cameron Norrie and Dan Evans will also be looking to make some headway on the surface, although with clay specialists Rafa Nadal and Novak Djokovic also looking good, this may be easier said than done.
